Atelier Gapont I was realised in 2012 as the reconstruction of a stable destroyed by fire.
The building is constructed from prefabricated solid timber elements that serve both as structure and interior surface.
The concept is based on maximum simplicity to achieve maximum flexibility, as the space was conceived to accommodate unknown future transformations.
It became the first home of Atelier Gapont, where the practice grew from a laptop on a kitchen table into a small team.
